A Long Walk To Water - part 1 discussion questions.

    

1. His tribe is Dinka and he has a very successful father. He then goes to school like a normal day and his teacher tells them to run and don't go home so he runs into a bush.
   
2. He was thinking where his family was, If his family were okay and where was he going. If that had happened to me I would be thinking if my family were okay, where were they and how would I survive.
   
3. Nya's walks 8 hours a day to get water from a pond. If she does not get the water the family will have no water to cook food. If I had a responsibility like that I would walk 8 hours a day to get water.
   
4. They have different signs on their heads. I can tell different myself apart from peoples cultures because we all have different accents.

The whales

It was an early Saturday morning and me and my Granddad went to the old fishing dock.

Today was a special morning because this is when the whales migrate back to New Zealand in the winter. 

Once me and Granddad got to the dock there was my Auntie in the water swimming of course with the whales. 

I was very lucky that I brought my togs with me or other wise I would have had to watch Granddad and Auntie swim with them while I dipped my feet in the water.

I was going to get in the water then I thought that maybe they might be mean and eat me or the might eat me ,auntie and granddad I stood up and I was about to turn around then I saw him, My cousin Timmy he had pushed me in the water and I almost landed on the whale luckily auntie

It was late after work I needed coffee so I went to the bakery to get it. I walked into the bakery it was quite just the way I liked it. I asked for a coffee while the guy at the barista just stood there the scared look on his face said to me joker is here. I asked him if I could go out the back to use the toilet he said yes. I quietly went out the back to see if joker was there I could hear his laugh but could not see him I looked down at the ground and saw a piece of green hair I new he was close.
