Kowhai Seed Planting

Today we planted kowhai seeds.

The first step is to get a little pod of soil into a saucer and put 50 ml of water into it,
Then you let the pod absorb the water then take the fabric coating off of it then mix.

When it is fully mixed you put some of the soil into a paper or cardboard cup leave some soil in the other cup for later. Once you have used some of the soil dig a hole into the soil.
After that, you need to get your kowhai seed and scrape it lightly on a piece of sandpaper or 6-7 times.

Once that's done put the seed into the hole and cover it up then put that cup into a plastic cup and your done!

Today we have been learning about the adverb start sentence-style. The rule is to start with an adverb then have a comma straight after.

1. Thoughtfully, I bought my mum some chocolate
2. Awkwardly, I said hi
3. Cheerfully, I greeted my neighbors
4. Lazily, I got out of bed
5. Gracefully, I scored a goal
6. Quietly, I ate my mums chocolate
7. However, she always wore the same clothes
8. Interestingly, She jumped higher than me
9. Effortlessly, she lifted the weights
10. Eagerly, I started at the chocolate cake
11. Soon, we will be at the school
12. Usefully, I used the calculator
13. Recklessly, I bought a puppy anyway
